MQuest Artists Agency (MQAA) has officially welcomed renowned director Rahyan Carlos as Head of Training and Development.

Under the leadership of MQAA Head Jeffrey Remigio and with Direk Rahyan onboard, the agency is launching its public workshops in Acting, Dance, and Voice, with the goal of discovering and cultivating new talents. Following the workshops, participants will have exclusive access to auditions and the opportunity to join the MQAA talent pool.

A distinguished figure in Philippine entertainment, Direk Rahyan Carlos has been a prominent film and TV scriptwriter-director and respected acting coach since 1997. His career highlights include directing acclaimed films like Pamahiin, the iconic Shake, Rattle & Roll 8 horror hits, and the internationally recognized Ringgo: The Dog Shooter.

He has also helmed iconic TV series such as ABS-CBN’s Florinda and TV5’s Regal Shocker. Throughout his career, Direk Rahyan has directed multiple commercial and independent films, as well as six TV series, and authored numerous scripts.

Direk Rahyan is the only Filipino accredited to teach the Hollywood “Chubbuck Technique,” which he mastered under the legendary Hollywood acting coach Ivana Chubbuck, whose clients include A-listers like Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Sylvestre Stallone, Jim Carrey and Charlize Theron. In the Philippines, Direk Rahyan has trained some of the industry’s most celebrated actors, including Christian Bables, Coco Martin, Arjo Atayde, Megan Young, Julia Barretto, Roco Nacino, Sandino Martin, Carla Martinez, and Carmi Martin.

Aspiring actors, dancers, and vocalists, as well as professional and practicing teachers, are welcome to join Direk Rahyan’s intensive workshops under MQAA.
