media.Xchange PR Inc. is seeking a Social Media Specialist who will be responsible for creating and administering content of all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Social Media Specialist that can build an audience and ensure customer engagement. Social Media Specialist will also monitor site metrics, respond to reader comments, and oversee creative design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media.
- Promoting products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with an
- organization’s brand and social media strategy.
- Scheduling social media posts
- Day-to-day management of social media accounts, including (but not limited to), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, building reach and followers.
- Interacting with possible clients and dealing with their inquiries
- Developing new social media strategies and campaigns
- Managing a budget to be spent on promoting social media campaigns
- Keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns
- Collaborating with colleagues from across PR department to ensure branding is consistent
- Meeting with clients and other stakeholders (such as social media influencers) for pitching potential marketing campaigns.
- Using design skills to produce high-quality creative content such as graphics, animations, printed reports and website landing pages for use across our channels
The ideal candidate:
- Creative skills in graphic design
- A social media user, with an enthusiasm for digital culture, wider trends, and an understanding of how they relate to our accounts
- Basic knowledge of planning and running paid-for digital marketing (CPC) campaigns.
- Current experience in managing organisational social media accounts, whether in previous employment, or as part of a voluntary/community role
- Some knowledge of analytical and statistical tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, DataStudio or similar.
