Heads up, film buffs: “Kun Maupay Man It Panahon” (“Whether the Weather is Fine”) is now streaming on Amazon Prime!

The Carlo Manatad film, set in the aftermath of Yolanda and stars Daniel Padilla, Charo Santos-Concio, and Rans Rifol, is finally available digitally all across Southeast Asia as announced by Black Sheep on their social media accounts today, October 13.

“We’ve found a new home. KUN MAUPAY MAN IT PANAHON (Whether the Weather is Fine) is NOW STREAMING on Amazon Prime!” they captioned the post.

Prior to its Philippine release, “Kun Maupay Man It Panahon” made its world premiere in August 2021 at the 74th Locarno Film Festival. It won the Cinema e Gioventù Prize from the Conscoso Cineasti del presente Junior Jury.

It then had its local release at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2021 where it took home Best Picture, Best Actress for Charo Santos-Concio, Best Supporting Actress for Rans Rifol, and Jury Prize Award for Daniel Padilla.

Recently, the film was also hailed the National Winner for the Philippines in the Best Feature Film Category at the Asian Academy Creative Awards.
