The Gilas Pilipinas guard is in the midst of another solid stint in the Japan B.League with Levanga Hokkaido, averaging 12.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals with half a block per game this season, and is also coming off national team duty with Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers earlier this month.
In addition to his continued presence on the international stage, Ramos also renewed his partnership with SportsPlus, extending an agreement that began in August 2024 when he first became a brand ambassador.
Since committing to Gilas, Ramos has represented the country in several major international tournaments, highlighted by the Philippines’ gold medal finish in the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou — the nation’s first men’s basketball gold in more than six decades.
“As long as my body allows me to compete at my best and the team needs me, I’ll always be committed to playing for Gilas Pilipinas,” Ramos said.
“Playing for the Philippines is an honor that I don’t take for granted. Every time I step on the court for Gilas Pilipinas, I give it my all,” he added.
Ramos said the renewed partnership is something he sees as a product of the work he has put in on the court while continuing to represent the Philippines internationally.
“I’m grateful for the continued trust of SportsPlus,” said Ramos, before hailing the platform which is led by its President and CEO Andre Uy. “Our partnership goes beyond basketball, and I’m excited to keep building something that supports Philippine sports.”
