Korina Sanchez will be taking on the role of a “supportive kumare” to mothers in the daytime program “Face To Face with Ate Koring,” a spinoff of the tabloid talk show.

TV5 announced Sanchez’s new program in a press release, featuring Sanchez as a “trusted ka-nanay” whom mothers and other women can turn to for tips and know-how in their everyday lives.

“It offers a safe space to every kumare and nanay to feel empowered, learn new things, and create business opportunities—helping housewives thrive even from the comfort of their homes,” the network said. “Ate Koring becomes the most relatable kumare Kapatid viewers can turn to—someone they can lean on and open up to about their stories.”

The talk show features the segments “5K For You,” “Ihain Na Yan,” “Misis Wais,” “Baby Bibo,” and “Alagang Koring,” the latter of which shows the broadcast journalist sharing tips on how mothers can stay “healthy, youthful, and stylish without breaking the bank.”

Another notable segment is “5K For You,” where viewers can send a selfie video nominating a “common tao” who deserves P5,000 in financial assistance.

Sanchez will be joined by Ryle Santiago, TV personality Laila Chikadora, and content creator Cheena Crab, also known as Pera Godmother.

The talk show begins airing on March 16, with viewers able to tune in every weekday at 11:00 a.m. /edv
